Existing Fellowships Seeking Additional Support

Carl 'Speed' Marvel Fellowship Endowment

We are currently seeking to grow the Carl 'Speed" Marvel Fellowship endowment to be a prestigious and nationally competitive award. This requires an endowment of $750,000. So far we have raised over $40,000.

David O'Brien Fellowship in Chemistry

The goal of this endowment is to raise $50,000. So far we have raised $24,000.

Victor J. Hruby Scholarship

Donations are sought to continue the biannual award for graduate students and post docs working in the chemical biology of peptides.

General Support Funds

Undergraduate Student Support

Donations to the Undergraduate Student Support provide awards at the Undergraduate Poster Session and for student recognition. The generosity of our donors decides on how many students benefit each year.

Graduate Program

Donations to the Graduate program provide travel awards to the national ACS meeting and special incentive awards. (pay for mentoring, professional development?)The generosity of our donors decides on how many students benefit each year.

Provide Funds to where the Need is Greatest

Past donations have bought a new lathe for the glass shop which has vastly increased the capability to produce highly intricate research glassware.
