Earn Points for Each Correct Answer

This game will provide you with valuable exam practice and will hopefully be more fun than a drill session alone with your book. Hints are available for each question, but they decrease the number of points you can earn on that question. Most of the hints are in the form of the three-dimensional coordinates which can be viewed with any program which understands the Protein Databank molecular format. We suggest RasMol.

This game consists of 20 questions, each of which is worth 5 points. You can earn all 5 points by providing the correct answer, 4 points are awarded for providing the correct answer after being given a hint. Each of the 20 questions is randomly chosen from 4 similar possibilities, so running through the game to find your weak areas, and then again after studying those areas will let you know if you have improved.

When the "Hint" button is selected, any answer you provide will be ignored and you will be provided the exact same question with additional information (possibly a definition of an important term and always a link to the three dimensional coordinates). You may have to page down to find your hint.
