Bruker DRX-500 and DRX-600

The DRX-500 and DRX-600 instruments are nearly identical in their capabilities.
There are a few differences:  the DRX-600 has a preemphasis unit, so you can use
the "setpre" command to disable the gradient amplifier modules in order to balance
the gradient current to zero.  On the DRX-500 the gradient amplifiers must be
disabled manually, by pushing in and holding the "reset" buttons.  The DRX-500 has
DQD capability (removes quadrature artifacts in one scan per increment 2D
experiments).  The available probes are different as well.  Late in 2003 we will
be upgrading the DRX-600 to include 2H decoupling, 2H gradient shimming,
and the latest software.
