Our group is located in the Chemistry Department at the University of Arizona

Our research focuses on the new class of synthetic macromolecules known as dendrimers. We are interested in the roles that stereogenic centers and photochromic moities play in the secondary and tertiary structure of these inherently 3-dimensional macromolecules. Engineerred structures are capable of controlled degradation, or disassembly.

Professor McGrath can be reached by phone at (520) 626 4690, and by electronic mail at mcgrath@u.arizona.edu.
