Flu Shot Time: Tuesday, October 9th, from 9 am to 12 noon

If you are thinking about getting your FLU SHOT this year, we will have flu shot clinics on the UA campus this fall, although it will be set up differently from prior years.

On Tuesday, October 9, from 9 am to 12 noon, you can get your flu shot near the vending machine area located outside the Biological Sciences West Building, on the sidewalk on the northeast side of BSW. You do not need to make an appointment. Just show up!

To receive a FREE flu vaccine, benefit-eligible members (and dependents aged 4 and up covered by the employee's medical insurance) must bring:

  • Your Benefit Options Insurance Card
  • A Photo ID
  • The Employee Identification Number (EIN found on paycheck) of primary insured State employee
  • Your Completed Consent Form

If you are an undergraduate or graduate student, you can get your flu shot at Campus Health for a $15 fee or at our clinic for a $30 fee.

You should not receive vaccine if you:

  1. Have ever had a serious allergic reaction to eggs or to a vaccine
  2. Have a fever, acute respiratory infections, or other infections or illness
  3. Have a history of Guillin-Barre Syndrome
