Kai & Janet Haber Award in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics (BMB) for Doctoral Students
Spring 2009
This award has been established for BMB doctoral graduate students showing excellence in research and/or departmental service. This award, given to a student each year, recognizes his/her excellence in publications and/or exceptional service to the Department. The recipient must have completed his/her oral examination and advanced to candidacy. The recipient must not be in the final semester of the degree program. The value of the award is $1,000. All applicants will be notified of the outcome by the beginning of April.
Eligibility
Any doctoral graduate student, working in the lab of a primary BMB faculty member, who has successfully completed his /her oral examination, and has advanced to candidacy, may apply. The applicant may not be in his/her final semester of the degree program.
Selection process
The application form and all required attachments will be forwarded to the BMB Awards Committee.
The deadline for submission of the application documents is 5:00 pm on Monday, March 23, 2009. Send by email or deliver the application form and attachments to the BIOC Advisor
