Required Laboratory Safety Training now ON-LINE:

All Chemistry Department employees who work in a laboratory are required to take the Risk Management & Safety Laboratory training for Hazardous Chemical Safety within the first month of employment. Our goal is 100% compliance. If you have not obtained this training, please go to the following link:

1. Log in with your NetID
2. Under EDUCATION on the left hand side, click on TRAINING
3. Read the instructions and click on START
4. Read through the modules and answer the questions. The modules can be completed independently.
5. Once all modules are completed, you can take the test. This test requires completion without stopping once you started. You pass with 85%.
6. Once the test is passed, you will be able to print out the certificate. Please make a copy for yourself and give a copy to the front office to be recorded in our database.
