UACares selected The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department to receive the EduCares Award for the Chili Cookoff held November 8, 2010.

In all, $370 was raised for the CBC student scholarship fund.

The 2010 Chili Cookoff winners are:

  • Honorable Mention - Black Panther Chili - Wes Rubenstein
     
• Most Unique Chili:
  • 1st Place - Sweet Thang - Amy Anderson
  • 2nd Place - Southwest Autumn Chili - Ashley Head
  • 3rd Place - Gringo Chili - Ellie Warder
     
• Best Green Chili:
  • 1st Place - New Mexico Green Chili - Margaret Gomez
     
• Best Vegetarian Chili:
  • tie-1st Place - Southwest Autumn Chili - Ashley Head
  • tie-1st Place - Just Right Vegetarian Chili - Beverly Travers
  • 2nd Place - Gremlin Veggie Chili - Dave Wooldridge
  • 3rd Place - Dragon's Breath Chili - Nadja Anderson
