Lucy Ziurys Receives 2009 GPSC Outstanding Faculty Member Award
At a recent luncheon with Andrew Comrie and Maria Teresa Valez along with the GPSC president and others, the 2009 GPSC Outstanding Faculty Member Award Award was announced for Lucy Ziurys. This award honors her contributions to graduate education.
Each year, during Graduate & Professional Student Appreciation Week, the GPSC recognizes graduate students, staff, and faculty who have made outstanding contributions to the campus and, in particular, to graduate education.
The Outstanding Faculty Member must be a faculty member whose graduate level instruction and/or involvement in graduate studies in a department have made outstanding contributions to the development of future faculty members and/or future practitioners in their field.
