Lauren Wugalter- Undergraduate Researcher

Congratulations Lauren, for becoming a Charles Hoyt Scholar!

Lauren Wugalter is a senior undergraduate chemistry major at UA. She has been in the Hruby group for about a year working under Dr. Deekonda synthesizing small molecules for pain research having to do with the mu and delta opioid receptors. Her plan is to continue in organic chemistry research in graduate school working either with small molecules or to move on to natural product synthesis.
