Merck and Co, Inc. is pleased to offer a travel grant to be paid to a top undergraduate chemistry student for travel to a scientific conference!
Program Details
Merck travel grants provide $1,000 in funding for analytical and/or physical chemistry undergraduate travel during the 2008-2009 academic year or during the summer of 2008.

The CBC Faculty encourage undergraduates to be involved in research.
Participation in research provides real experience in potential careers, develops mentoring relationships with faculty and other members of research groups, and is the best way to learn science. A detailed description of ongoing projects can be obtained on the department web pages

Lela E. Booher Memorial Scholarship for Upper-Division and Graduate Students Majoring in Biological Science
Source/ Purpose:
This award recognizes proven scholastic ability by unmarried Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics Graduate students and juniors or seniors (60 units or more), who will not graduate before December 2009. The departmental graduate committee selects students based on course grades and recommendations. The University Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics Awards Committee will select the recipient for 2009.
ACS-Hach Land Grant Scholarship for Chemistry Teachers
The University of Arizona Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is pleased to announce two annual scholarships ($6000 each) available to undergraduate chemistry students who are pursuing careers as Chemistry Teachers!
To be eligible, students must:
1. Be full-time enrolled undergraduates majoring in Science Education with a Chemistry emphasis (BSC SCED CHM), or be declared Chemistry majors (BS or BA CHEM) with a commitment to becoming a chemistry teacher.
