Diogenes Placencia receives a DOE Fellowship

The Neal Armstrong Group and the entire Chemistry and Biochemistry Department join together in congratulating Diogenes Placencia, who has been selected for a DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) SunShot Initiative Fellowship as part of the EERE Science and Technology Policy (STP) Fellowships program.
Avi Leftin Named as NSF Postdoctoral Fellow and Selected as Fulbright Scholar
Avigdor Leftin, a 2010 graduate of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, has just been named recipient of a National Science Foundation international postdoctoral fellowship to conduct research at the Weizmann Institute in Israel. In addition he has been selected a Fulbright Scholar to pursue this research.
