High Performance Computational Chemistry Using Parallel PC Clusters:
An Introduction to Beowulf Clusters for Chemists

Donald B. Kinghorn
University of Arizona Deptartment of Chemistry

Computational Chemists have an almost insatiable appetite for computer resources and it is quite often the case that this large demand for computing power is not accompanied by large budgets for computing equipment. Beowulf clusters offer the exciting possibility to achieve supercomputer performance on a workstation budget.

These pages will hopefully guide you to the information you need for building and utilizing a low cost Beowulf cluster for high performance Computational Chemistry.

The main points are:

I'll try to keep expanding the information and links on these pages so ... check back now and then...
