Student Awards & Recognition

Each year, the Department of Chemistry takes the opportunity to recognize the efforts and accomplishments of its undergraduate students. The prizes for the awards range from certificates of recognition, scientific journal subscriptions, computer molecular modeling software, and books of reference to plaques and cash awards. Some students have competed for and received College of Science awards as well, which demonstrates the high quality of our students.

The awards listed below are given out each year from the Department of Chemistry, however there are a great many more that students earn and receive. The Honors College and various UA organizations provide additional opportunities for awards, scholarships, and recognition.
