In our research laboratory, we are interested in
learning about gas phase molecular structure, electronic charge
distributions, and reactvity of transition metal complexes,
weakly-bound complexes, and organic molecules We can probe into these
important molecular properties by studying rotational spectrum of these molecules.
Our experiments involve the use of a pulse beam Fourier transform microwave
spectroscopy and the DFT computational method. Our experimental studies
have brought forward some interesting and key structural results, providing
direct insights into metal-ligand, metal-metal bonding interactions.
